Ara looks after IT at Tenzing, managing company’s technology infrastructure across the head office and international branches. He is responsible for ensuring that systems, networks, security and cloud environments not only run seamlessly but make a tangible difference.
Having grown up around technology since the days of IBM 386, Ara developed a strong passion for technology early on – one that has grown into a career spanning over 20 years. He plays a central role in maintaining a robust, secure and scalable IT environment, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve performance and productivity. From presenting IT strategies to senior leadership to troubleshooting technical issues (or quietly fixing things before anyone notices), Ara plays a key role behind the scenes keeping everything running as it should.
He holds a BSc in Physics and an MBA, a combination that shapes how he works today: analytical when solving complex problems yet always grounded in people and clear communication.
Prior to joining Tenzing, Ara held a range of IT roles across sports technology, software development, cybersecurity and managed services sectors, where he built, scaled, and contributed across all aspects of IT operations.
Ara was drawn to Tenzing by the opportunity to apply his technical expertise in a fast-paced, ambitious environment, and to work alongside a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
