Fiona sits in the Investment Team at Tenzing. Her role is focused on evaluating and executing investment opportunities and ongoing portfolio value creation work. She loves meeting passionate management teams, learning about their business and sound boarding the ways in which Tenzing can help them with the next stage of their growth journey.
Work-life began as a lawyer at Freshfields where Fiona qualified into the private equity team. A partner there once described a career in corporate law as “a backstage pass to the most exciting deals and developments in the business world”. A secondment to Cinven opened Fiona’s eyes to the fact that, why be backstage, when you can be part of the action? She re-trained in finance at LSE and learnt the ropes doing an intern analyst position back at Cinven.
In early 2019, Fiona joined the Tenzing team, drawn to the originality of our approach to PE, the highly talented colleagues she’d get to work alongside and the fact we have a bar in the office.
Fiona is on the board at activpayroll, Gravita and PSSG.
