Liv Simpson

Liv heads Client Services and assists in the development of Firm strategy. She joined the team in 2018 during the early stages of the Tenzing I investment period. Since then, she has supported the raise of Tenzing II in 2020, the world’s first fully-virtual buyout fundraise which reached its £400m hard-cap within nine weeks.

Liv has 12 years of experience and a combination of investment banking, strategic communications and private equity skills. After gaining an English Literature degree, she started her career as an M&A analyst at Citigroup, working for three years in the TMT and UK teams. She then moved to Finsbury, the global strategic communications firm, to focus on Investor Relations advisory for UK and European listed businesses, before joining Tenzing in 2018. Liv also gained her CFA charter in 2019. 

Tenzing immediately stood out to Liv because of its vibrancy, entrepreneurialism and its ambitious, inspiring people.
