Milan is an Investment Lead and a member of the Investment Committee. He is based in Munich and is responsible for co-underwriting all European deals across DACH, the Nordics and Benelux.
Originally from Slovakia, Milan moved to the UK to study economics, although he spent more time working his bar and kitchen jobs to pay for the lectures he wasn’t attending. Perhaps that was the best economics lesson he could get!
Whilst at university, he started and ran a small business which paid for his master’s degree and made him fall in love with building successful and scalable companies.
Having started his career with EY across corporate finance and M&A, Milan joined Guy, Christian and Rob in 2015 as employee number one to start a next-generation private equity firm with a fresh approach to support Founders and management teams with scaling their businesses.
Milan, a founding pillar of our team, is a driving force behind our investment strategy in Europe. With a focus on HCM, Milan has honed his expertise in the field, culminating in the triumphant exit of FMP Global.
Milan is on the board of Bannerflow and MNI.
As of summer 2023, Milan is based out of Munich, where he is helping set up Tenzing’s European hub and build the team.
