Sayen’s first portfolio assignment was at MPLC, where he supported the CEO, Rory Shedden, on various value-creation initiatives as the business scaled post-COVID. During his second secondment, he helped MNI understand how to best utilise technology to support its future business ambitions.
Originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, Sayen has always been passionate about helping build, scale and transform businesses and was attracted to Tenzing’s growth-focused ethos.
Highlights of his time on the Sherpa Programme included continuous learning and development opportunities, as well as being a part of a wonderful network of smart and collaborative people.
Sayen graduated from the Programme in 2023 and went on to an exciting growth-focused role at an Impact Fund. He remains a member of the Alumni network.
