Stephan works in the Investment Team at Tenzing, where he is responsible to identify, evaluate and execute European software and tech-enabled services businesses that are ready to scale. His mission is to pair deep analytical rigour with Tenzing’s capital and hands-on value-creation approach to help management teams build the next generation of category leaders. Stephan is driven by understanding the mechanics behind what makes a business tick and figuring out, together with the team, how Tenzing can help unlock the next chapter of growth.
Prior to Tenzing, Stephan worked as an Investment Executive at FSN Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing and analysing new opportunities in the technology sector across the DACH region as well as supporting FSN’s portfolio companies on their value creation journeys. Before moving into private equity, he spent time in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and Nomura in London, focused on M&A and leveraged buyouts.
Stephan brings an analytical and numbers-driven mindset and a strong team spirit which was shaped by his time as a professional cyclist. He draws energy from surrounding himself with the best people and bouncing ideas to achieve the best possible outcomes.
