I try to listen to Newscast every day. I find it a good-humoured, informative, real-time discussion of the news headlines, which is recorded at around 6pm each evening and perfect for listening to either pre-sleep or on a morning walk or commute. The main anchors of Adam, Laura, Chris and Katya are a great combination, collating the current news events and providing informative and honest assessments and insights. Their banter is fun and they usually ring in an interesting guest or two as well, in a varied format. It’s not polished, it’s not perfect and it’s not deeply informative; it’s just a good light-hearted roundup which provides some further colour and food for thought around the main news stories of the day.
