After less than a year on the Sherpa Programme, Anna Jackson has accepted a permanent role at her portfolio company, activpayroll. The new role will see her transfer from Tenzing staff to activpayroll staff, and she will join the executive team there from 1st June, working directly for CEO Jason Allen.
Anna joined the Sherpa Programme in October 2021 as part of Cohort 2. She has significant operational management experience, having worked in PE-backed businesses for much of her career. She was previously Global Performance Director at Harvey Nash and spent five years in manager and director roles at Capita before that.
In Anna’s new role, she will have direct responsibility achievement of sales targets from both new and existing customers. She will be leading a new combined commercial function comprising of four existing departments : Sales & Business Development, Marketing and Lead Generation, Global Mobility, Contracts and Commercial.
Anna is the second member of the Sherpa Programme to be promoted to a permanent portfolio executive team role, following Rory Shedden, who was promoted to be CEO at MPLC in November 2021.
Anna’s promotion leaves a vacancy at activpayroll for a new Sherpa, and this post will be part of the recruitment of Sherpa Cohort 3, which starts in July 2022.
