Today, we are pleased to announce that our portfolio company, DJH, has acquired TWP, marking the group’s largest acquisition to date and further strengthening its presence across the South of England. DJH supports owner-managed businesses and high-net worth individuals, who rely on them to achieve their ambitions through expert accountancy advice, challenging conversations and innovative technology.

TWP brings 70 professionals across four offices in Cranleigh, Guildford, Kingston-upon-Thames and Weybridge, adding to DJH’s existing presence across the South. The acquisition strengthens the group’s footprint in Surrey while expanding TWP clients’ access to specialist services including capital allowances and R&D, commercial funding, corporate finance and IT consultancy.

TWP has built a strong reputation as one of Surrey’s leading accountancy practices, supporting clients across sectors including care, dental, property and retail. The partnership enables TWP’s clients to continue working with their existing advisers from the firm’s four offices, while benefiting from the broader capabilities and specialist expertise available across the DJH group.

James Beardmore, Chief Operating Officer at DJH, commented:

“Surrey has been a target region for us for some time, and this partnership gives us four offices and an immediate, well-established presence right across the area.

TWP has a fantastic reputation for being client-focused and delivering expert support that makes a real difference to budding entrepreneurs, scaling companies and not-for-profit organisations. It is highly regarded as one of the county’s leading accountancy practices and they share our values of trust and operating to a ‘people first’ approach to doing business.”

Matt Nicholson, Investment Lead at Tenzing, added:

“We’re delighted to see DJH continue its growth with its largest acquisition to date. TWP has built an excellent reputation across Surrey, with strong client relationships and a people-first approach that closely aligns with DJH, making it an excellent fit for the group as it continues to expand its presence across the South.”

This is the fourteenth transaction DJH has completed with the support of private equity partner Tenzing since 2022.
