Following the recent extension of Tenzing’s investment in MNI, we are pleased to announce the creation of Vectis Group, a new holding company established to support the next phase of growth for the investment.
Vectis Group has been created as the parent company of MNI, IGM and AlphaFlash, providing a platform to build a leading portfolio of specialist financial business information companies. While MNI will continue to operate under its existing brand, management team and business model, Vectis Group has been established to support future growth through both organic investment and strategic acquisitions.
The creation of Vectis Group reflects a long-term vision to bring together complementary businesses serving the global financial markets. Rather than integrating businesses into a single operating company, each company within Vectis Group will continue to operate independently under its own trusted brand, leadership team and customer relationships, preserving the expertise, market position and customer focus that have driven their success.
Terry Alexander, Chief Executive Officer of Vectis Group commented:
“We have been thinking hard about our next growth journey with Tenzing alongside their recently announced re investment. As part of the planning process, we wanted to create a new holding company to recognise that we are likely to be a multi-brand business going forward.
As of today, Vectis Group comprises MNI, IGM and AlphaFlash.”
Milan Kellner, Investment Lead at Tenzing, added:
“Our recent reinvestment reflected our strong conviction in MNI, its management team and the opportunity ahead. The creation of Vectis Group is the natural next step in that journey, providing the structure to support long-term growth while preserving the entrepreneurial culture and specialist expertise that have made MNI so successful. We look forward to supporting Terry and the wider team as they build Vectis Group into a leading financial business information platform.”
