Tenzing welcomes Malte Pollmann and Sven Lindemann to its Entrepreneurs Panel

Today, European tech investor Tenzing announced the appointment of Malte Pollmann and Sven Lindemann to its Entrepreneurs Panel

Made up of six inspiring and successful founders, entrepreneurs and CEOs, the Panel brings further vision, strategic insight and hands-on support to Tenzing’s portfolio companies. The addition of the two Germany-based panellists will see Tenzing amplify the level of personalisation and expertise it can offer to management teams across DACH.

Malte Pollmann is an accomplished senior leader with over 20 years of experience in the technology sector. He is the former CEO of Utimaco, the global cybersecurity and compliance solutions provider based in Germany, where he built up significant experience and drove impressive innovation, growth and the M&A strategy, including seven bolt-ons across Europe and the US.

Sven Lindemann is a seasoned entrepreneur who deeply understands the DACH region. He has founded and led several successful companies in the technology sector and has also served as a board member and advisor to numerous startups. Former CEO of Serrala, a provider of finance automation and B2B payment solutions for the office of the CFO, Sven brings first-hand experience building and growing private equity-backed software businesses.

On long-term retainers, incentivised by Fund performance and investors in Tenzing’s Funds themselves, these entrepreneurs are strongly integrated into Tenzing and its portfolio.

The remainder of the Entrepreneurs Panel includes Bill Collis, former CEO & President of Foundry, Bobby Healy, Founder of Manna, Adrian Thompson, CEO of Aspen Pumps and Titus Sharpe, Founder, President & Former CEO of MVF Global.

With 70 years of CEO experience between them, they have managed a combined workforce of 1,700, created 1,400 jobs, delivered total annual profits of over £100m and created shareholder value of almost £1bn. They all have a track record of working successfully with private equity firms across Europe and have lived and breathed the successes and failures of scaling their own organisations.

Guy Gillon, CEO of Tenzing, said, “The Entrepreneurs Panel has been a unique part of Tenzing’s DNA since the firm was founded, and we’re really proud to welcome Malte and Sven to the team. They bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table, and we’re excited to see our portfolio companies draw on their local knowledge and invaluable strategic advice to create positive outcomes.”

Malte Pollmann added, “I am excited to join the Entrepreneurs Panel and to contribute my experience and knowledge to support Tenzing’s portfolio businesses. Tenzing’s focus on long-term partnerships and sustainable growth is impressive, and I look forward to being a part of it.”

Sven Lindemann commented, “I am honored to be a part of Tenzing’s Entrepreneurs Panel and to have the opportunity to work with such a talented group of individuals. I am excited to leverage my global expertise to help management teams and Tenzing’s portfolio businesses achieve their full potential.”

Tenzing is currently investing from its second fund and will continue its proven strategy of finding the best UK and European, high-growth, tech-enabled businesses and fuelling their growth with investment and support from the best and most ambitious entrepreneurial minds.
